Official bio:

Frank J. Kenny is the leading authority on social media for Chambers, and their members, in the Chamber of Commerce industry. As a faculty member for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management (IOM) Frank instructs on C460 – Integrating Strategic Technology Solutions and E161 – Technology Tools and Trends.

He has presented on social media through numerous Chamber of Commerce organizations including Northwest Chamber Leaders (NWCL), New England Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (NEACCE), American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE), and the Western Association of Chamber Executives (W.A.C.E.).

His book, The 7 Secret Laws of Society, Social Media Essentials and Strategies for Small Business and Associations and his annual Social Media Survey and Executive Report have been downloaded by chambers and chamber members from around the world.

He is a former Chair of the Chamber Division of the Association of Washington Business (AWB) and former Washington State Chamber of Commerce Executives (WCCE) Board Member. He has a degree in finance, his MBA, and is a graduate of the Western Association of Chamber Executives (W.A.C.E.) Academy program. As President/CEO of a county-wide Chamber he led a team in doubling the membership of that 45 year old organization over an 18 month period, primarily through strategic social media solutions.

Frank’s published articles, such as, The Psychology of Social Media for Chambers, and the forthcoming Social Media Strategy: Engage Non-members, Provide Value, Convert Them to Members can be found in the only magazine devoted entirely to the chamber profession, ACCE’s Chamber Executive.

Frank lives in the Pacific Northwet (not a typo) between Seattle and Portland. He is proud to have served on the boards of his local Rotary, United Way, and Chamber. As an entrepreneur, he founded a leading chain of tourist-based stores which were honored with the Business of the Year award from a local Chamber.
