Content with captivating visuals gets, on average, 94% more views than content without. If you doubt this statistic, all you need to do is take a look at the recent changes to Twitter (featuring images as parts of posts) and Facebook (larger businesses ads and icons) aimed at improving their visual offerings, as well as the popularity of sites like Instagram and Pinterest. You can also read these amazing stats on visual content from HubSpot.

It’s still funny to me as a writer how I can write a short blog post that gets a small amount of traffic and then I can use nearly the exact content, arrange it visually so that it resembles an infographic without the stats — and BAM!!! — it takes off with shares and likes.
Same content.
But visual content is obviously a favorite among people on the Internet. That’s why you need to seriously consider creating visual content out of every blog post. Repurposing your content is a whole lot quicker than creating something from scratch and it’s varied enough that people don’t recognize it as “old stuff.”
Quick Ideas for Visually Repurposing Content from a Chamber Blog Post
Infographic/Poster
Take the highlights from your blog and lay them out infographic or poster style. You don’t even need to be a designer as Canva and Hubspot offer free templates you can use.
In addition to being visually appealing, it helps people get the points of your blog quickly. Remember, most people skim. They don’t read.
Image Quotes
Pull a strong quote from your blog and overlay it on a captivating image or color block. When you post it, provide the URL for the blog post. Pablo from Buffer offers one of the easiest sites I’ve worked with for creating image quotes and has tons of royalty-free images you can use. Did I mention free?
Stat Images
When you create an image from a stat you quote in your article, people are much more likely to remember and share it.
Don’t waste great content by posting it in only one format. Use it over and over in different mediums so that no matter how your audience likes to enjoy content, there’s a way that will appeal to them.
