We’re all appreciative of our chamber sponsors. We couldn’t do what we do without them, but if you feel like merely reading off their names at an event isn’t enough, you might be right. One chamber professional asked her colleagues for some creative ways to make sponsors feel loved and they certainly came through.
Ways to Help Your Chamber Sponsors Feel Valued
Post to Social Media
One chamber did Facebook posts for their top-tier sponsors to thank them. This is a nice way to give them public recognition and it lasts a lot longer than applause.
Fit It Into a Theme
That same chamber who did the Facebook posts also had a creative idea to have their top-tier sponsors come up with signature drinks that they named and created. You can easily adopt a similar idea playing off of your event theme by naming tables, food, etc.
Feature a Walk of Fame
One chamber pro makes removable logos that she places on the floor like a Walk of Fame. Photo backgrounds are also a popular idea but if you need something more subtle you can place it on something like a step.
Use a Photo Booth
The Yelm Area Chamber of Commerce used a photo booth that placed the sponsor’s logo on every picture. Some good visibility is enjoyed by all.
If you create a video of your event, giving your sponsors top billing is always a good idea, like Shannon McKinstry suggested. You can also do this on Facebook Live or in Instagram Stories.
You can incorporate sponsor logos on pretty much anything including food, on food wrappers, or flags decorating the food as the McMinville- Warren County Chamber of Commerce pointed out. There are a lot of options when it comes to a food table.
